Add the Alliance360 Event App to Your Phone

The convention app lives at this address:

https://alliance360.southeastpropane.org/app/

Adding it to your home screen gives you quick access to the schedule, attendee notes, and event notifications. You only need to do this once per device.

Step 1: Open the app URL on your phone

On your phone or tablet, open your web browser and go to:

https://alliance360.southeastpropane.org/app/

Ways to get there:

  • Tap the link above (from an email, text, or this help page).
  • Type the address in your browser’s address bar at the top of the screen.
  • Copy and paste the URL if you received it in a message.

When the page loads, you should see the Summer Convention / Alliance360 event app (schedule, sponsors, notifications, and “Save to Home Screen” or “Install App”).

Step 2: Add to your home screen

Choose the instructions for your device.

Android Users Apple Users

iPhone or iPad (Apple)

Important — use Safari for install and notifications.

On iPhone and iPad, you must use Safari (Apple’s blue compass browser) to add the app to your home screen and to receive push notifications later. Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on iOS will not show “Add to Home Screen” the same way, and notifications will not work if you only use those browsers.

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to https://alliance360.southeastpropane.org/app/.
  3. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom center of Safari. If you don’t see it, scroll up on the page to reveal the toolbar.
  4. Scroll the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Optionally edit the name, then tap Add (top right).
  6. Find the new icon on your home screen. Open the app from that icon — not from a Safari tab bookmark — when you want the full app experience.

Already in Chrome or another browser on iPhone? Copy the URL, open Safari, paste it in the address bar, then follow steps 3–6 above.

Turning on event notifications (iPhone):

  • Install using Safari as described above.
  • Open the app from your home screen icon (standalone mode).
  • On the app page, tap Turn On Alerts and allow notifications when prompted.

Notifications do not work reliably from a normal Safari tab — use the home screen app opened from Safari’s “Add to Home Screen.”

Android phone or tablet

On Android, use Chrome (or another Chromium-based browser such as Samsung Internet) for the simplest install.

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to https://alliance360.southeastpropane.org/app/.
  3. Look for one of these (wording varies by phone and Chrome version):
    • Tap the browser menu (three dots, top right) → Install app or Add to Home screen, or
    • Tap an Install banner or prompt if Chrome offers it, or
    • On the event app page, tap Install App if that button appears.
  4. Confirm when asked. The Alliance360 icon will appear on your home screen or app drawer.
  5. Open the app from that icon for schedule access and notifications.

Turning on event notifications (Android):

  • Open the app from your home screen (installed / added shortcut).
  • Tap Turn On Alerts on the app page and allow notifications when your phone asks.

Troubleshooting

  • iPhone: I don’t see “Add to Home Screen.” You are probably not in Safari. Copy the URL and open it in Safari.
  • iPhone: Notifications won’t turn on. Open the app from the home screen icon (not a Safari tab). If you added it from Chrome, remove the shortcut and add again from Safari.
  • Android: No install option. Try Chrome’s menu (⋮) or update Chrome. Some corporate or locked-down phones block “Install app.”
  • Wrong page loaded. Confirm the address ends with /app/: https://alliance360.southeastpropane.org/app/
