DESCRIPTION:Join us for Legislative Day on May 27 at Halifax Mall as we welcome North Carolina legislators for a casual\, relationship‑building lunch. Volunteers will help support a propane‑powered hot dog cookout\, showcasing our industry in action while providing a warm and welcoming experience for our elected officials. \nLegislators are invited to stop by between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to enjoy hot dogs grilled on our propane grill and connect with industry representatives. \n⚠️ Important Volunteer Action Required:\nTo ensure strong legislator participation\, all volunteers are asked to personally reach out to their legislator(s) and invite them to attend Legislative Day. This event provides our industry with opportunities to build relationships with members of congress and their staff to talk about key issues. \nNPGA Registration\nPreliminary Agenda \nDinner\nThe SEPA-sponsored dinner will be held on Monday\, June 8\, 2026\, at 7:00 p.m.\nThe Capital Grille is a fine dining restaurant with an elegant atmosphere. To maintain this experience for everyone\, we ask guests to dress in attire that is appropriate for our restaurant. If unsure\, think business casual or resort evening wear. \nHotel Accommodations\nParticipants are responsible for reserving their own hotel accommodations.
